    wanting back my ex

I am in 8th grade, and this kid Ryan, he's in 7th, well, we went out last year for a month. Then he dumped me. I really liked him, and apparently he said he just lost interest. Ever since out breakup, I couldn't get over him. He was perfect for me!

So last year when we were going out, we used to write notes to each other. Well, in my end-of-the-year note, I asked him if he thought we'd go out next year. His response was: "yeah we probably will, but since theres only like two days of school left, i wouldnt see you that much, so....I guess thast something to look forward to....LOL"

Well, it's almost December and I've ye to flirt with him. We don't hang out as much as we used to, because basketball season hasn't started yet, or parties.

How can I get Ryan to like me like he did last year?

    Re: wanting back my ex

    Michelle,

First off I want to thank you so much for writing me with such a great question.  I know you're not the only person that has gone through this.  I have gone through the exact situation in my lifetime, and I understand how hard it can be.  Unfortunately, there isn't one certain task/thing that you can do that will be sure to get him back.  The best advice that I can give you is just continue to BE YOURSELF!!!  The best thing you can do for him and yourself is to be yourself, and continue to lead your life the way that is fun and enjoyable for you.  Hopefully, then he will see how much fun you still are and gain interest again, or if not, somebody else that you didn't even see coming my notice you and you can start something with them.  If you're just honestly being yourself and he still doesn't come back, I'm sure that he's the one missing out.

I hope everything works out for you, but be sure to know that even if Ryan doesn't start liking you again, that doesn't make you a bad person.  Sometimes, people just change their minds/opinions and want to try new things.  Keep putting yourself out there and you'll find a great guy that will treat you with lots of respect.

     Good Luck,

    Kevin
