According to statistics, Teen pregnancy is UP for the first time in 15 years. Now on the heels of this info, Ms. JLS announces she is preggo! At SIXTEEN! Not that the Spears family doesn't have enough drama for your momma but heck, what's a bit more in this day and age. Seems it's the only way for people to get attention, not saying that this is why she became pregnant.

My question is.... what is going on here?

They even met in church. Were they listening in church?

There has been a ton of moolah pumped into sex educaton, handing out condoms in schools, and ummmm I have heard a little bit about this thing called STD's!

I wonder what is really responsible for all of this irresponsible behavior among my peer group??

I thnk it's a time for a shift in role models.

Yeah, terrible news about Spears. I think the whole family is whack. About sex education, I think it is a really bad idea to hand out condoms because you are giving the message that it's okay to have sex at such a young age. I realize the point school officials are trying to make that teens should always wear a condom, but still condoms can break and it's sad people just can't wait have sex. This shouldn't even be a problem if people used common sense. People are acting like their brain is between their legs!  

did ya know jls's mom is publishing a parenting book!? yeah, cuz she is such a great parent...

Let's all follow the steps of Jamie Lynn Spears mom! Maybe it will tell us what NOT TO DO...like all of her mistakes....

i agree! our role models need to be arranged. you can only find a few good ones but they arent recognized as much as the ones who grab all the attention but stupid things like this. getting pregnent at 16? puh-leez!

exactly. i would rather hear about all the stuff that celebs and people are doing to help the environment and community. that would set such a better example for ppl.

i feel bad for her but everyone is saying she following her sis's foot steps so i dont know. But i hope all the best for her and hope she doesnt turn out like her (((((not dissing on britney or anything)))))<<< just saying

well she grew up with Britney as an older sister and younger siblings always try to be like their older ones...(like my sis does to me) so hopefully this might have been a wakeup to Jamie to be careful and NOT end up like britney.

It looks like Britney is getting back on track... and Jamie is taking the baby seriously.... at least that's what the magazines say... who knows if they are true? But Britney has Kevin to support her and who knows maybe in 5 years they could be a "healthy" family :P
