Signature: Anytime you post a comment (Message Boards, Private Messages, etc..), whatever you have in your signature will appear. Bio: Write something about yourself here so other members can learn about you. This can include inter-ests, hobbies, but try not to put anything too personal for your own safety.
Make sure you always “SAVE” any changes. |

Private Email: Private email for your account. |

SITE OPTIONS
Sort Posts: Ascending/Descending order. Font Size: Choose the font size you want. Content Editor: Allows various features for posting. Forum Posts Default View: Flat/Threaded view. Display in members list: If you want your account displayed in the Member list or not. Enable Post Mouse-Over Popup: Emails sent to members. Enable Collapsing Panels: Allows you to collapse panels in the forums. Enable Emoticons: Emoticons will be enabled throughout the site. Display user avatars: You will be able to see users' avatars Display user signatures: You will be able to see users' signatures Show Help Tips in Control Panel: Enables help tips in your user control panel. Items per-Page in Control Panel grids: Number of items displayed on a single page in the control panel. Timezone: Set this to your local time zone. Date Format: Select how you want the date to appear. |

Change Password: If you want to change your pass-word, click the “Change Password” button. |

FAVORITES
Share Friends: Check this box to show your “friends” and anyone who has added you as a “friend” to every-one who views your profile. Only authenticated users can see your profile. Share Favorite Posts: Check this box to show posts you have selected as “favorites to everyone who views your profile. Share Favorite Sections: Allows other members to see your favorite posts, etc. |

Photo To Upload: Add photos here. 1. Click “Upload Photo”. 2. Enter a Friendly Name/Description (Title of Photo). 3. Click “Browse”. 4. Locate the photo on your computer that you want to add to your gallery. (.jpg, .bmp, .gif) 5. Click “Upload”. Tags: You can add “tags” for your photos. Description: Add a description of your photo.

Email Feedback Notification: Select if you do/don’t want to receive email when there is a comment on your photo. Enable Ratings: If you want members to be able to rate this photo, select “Yes”

WRITE
Basic Blog Entry Title: Enter the subject of your blog post here. Body: This is where you write your actual blog post. Tags: You can add “tags” for your blog. Save and Continue Writing: To periodically save your blog so you don’t lose everything you’ve written so far. Save, but don’t Publish: To save what you’ve written but not make it “live” on the site. Publish: To make your blog post “live” on the site so everyone can see it. |

Allow Replies/Comments: Other members are able to reply/comment on you blog post, select “Yes”. Comment Moderation: Select if/how you want com-ments to your blog post to be moderated. Email Feedback Notification: Select if you do/don’t want to receive email when there is a comment on your blog post. Enable Trackbacks: To see who is linking/referring to your blog post, select “Yes”. Enable Ratings: If you want members to be able to rate your blog post, select “Yes” Publish to my aggregate list: Include this post to your blog homepage. Publish to site’s aggregate list: Not Applicable Syndicate Exerpt: To show only a few sentences in your blog preview area. |

After you select the Forum you want to post in (Ex. Shout it Out!), Click on “Write a New Post”. |

Subject: Enter the topic of your post here. Message: This is where you write your actual post. Tags: You can add “tags” for your post. Select Tags: This is a list of tags that have been used before that you can select from. Post: Click this for your post to become “Live” on the message board.
Always click the POST button when you are finished! |

Do not allow replies: Click the check box if you do not want to allow anyone to reply to your post. Email me replies to this post: Click the check box if you want to receive an email when someone replies to your post. Uncheck, if not. Post Icon: You can select an icon that will appear to the left of your Subject when the post goes “Live”. |

Add: Click this make the possible answer selectable once your poll is “Live”. Expires After (optional): If you want your poll to be removed from your post after a number of days. |

When you enter a Forum you will be in the Topics section, there is a “More Options” button at the bottom. Click it to access the Sorting and Notifications area.
Sort: List the posts in order of preference. Date Filter: List the posts according to date preference. Topic Filter: List the posts by various topic preferences. Send Email: Select preference as to if and when you receive an email regarding posts. Apply (Temporarily): Click to apply your preferences for this visit. Apply: Click to apply your preferences until the next time you want to change them. Mark all read: Mark all Topics in the Forum as Read. |

Whenever entering a Blog, Post, Private Message, you will see the Content Editor.
Font family: Select the font you want to use. Font size: Select the font size you want. Font Color: Select the color for your font. Background Color: Select the color you want for the background of the text you type. Cut: Cut anything from your message. Copy: Copy anything from your message. Paste: Paste anything to your message Paste from Word: Paste anything from your Clipboard. Edit HTML Source: Edit using HTML code. Run Spell Check: Spell check your message. Bold: Make fonts bold type. Italic: Make fonts italic. Underline: Underline the fonts. Strikethrough: Make a line through fonts. Indent: Indent your text. Outdent: Outdent your text. Unordered List: Create a bullet list. Ordered List: Create a numbered list. Insert/Edit Link: Add/Edit a link (URL) to text. Unlink: Remove link (URL) from text. Insert/Edit Image: Insert an image file that is on another website or server. (See Next Page) Content Selector: Upload and insert images from your computer. (See Next Page) Insert Smiley: Insert Smileys into your message. |

INSERT/EDIT IMAGE
You can insert an image from another website.
Image URL: (Ex. http://www.website.com/photo.jpg) Image description: Describe the image. Alignment: Various alignment options for text and image. Dimensions: Will automatically be input. Border: Enter a number to put a border around the image. Verticle Space: Enter a numerical value to put blank space above and below the image. Horizontal Space: Enter a numerical value to put blank space to the left and the right of the image. |

CONTENT SELECTOR
You can insert an image from your computer.
“Username” Blog Files Tab: Use this area to upload images to Teenfaze for use in any type of post. File To Upload: Add images here. 1. Click “Browse”. 2. Locate the image on your computer that you want to add to your post. (.jpg, .bmp, .gif) 3. Click “Upload File”. 4. Then make sure the image is selected (Ex. Bg.jpg is highlighted) 5. Click “OK”.
The image will then appear in your message area.
Files Tab: No Function Freebies Tab: Use this area to upload images to Teenfaze for use in any type of post AND they will be added to your Photo Gallery.
“Options” Image Size: Select a size for the image to be displayed. Link image to: When a member clicks on the image in the post, they can be sent to your gallery or to a new page with the original image or no link at all.
“Upload Photo” Same as (File to Upload) instructions as above. |
