Heyyy! SO I just got back from NY! That is officially my most favoritest place in the entire world. Don't get me wrong-- LA is awesome, but New York is totally amazing. It is my life goal to live there some day and I will!!!! Haha. There is just such a distinct rhythm of the city. I love that you can pretty much walk everywhere there too! Some people don't even have cars because they prefer to walk and use the subway. (PS: the subway is tight for sure!)
While I was there, I saw three shows! I saw Rent, Hairspray, and In the Heights. There were all incredible!!! Tamyra Gray, from American Idol, starred in Rent. Since she made it to the finals on American Idol, she obviously had an excellent voice, but I had no idea she was such a fabulous actress. She totally made me cry! I loved Hairspray too! The music was PHENOMENAL! In the Heights was extremely cool, but definitely not my type of musical. Instead of classic musical theatre music, it had hip hop and rap. The show was 13 Tony Nominations, and there's no wonder why! The dancing was my favorite part.
ALSO I saw the Fashion District!!! I was so excited!!! I didn't get much time to look around and explore because we were on our way to Hairspray, but just walking through it was AWESOME. lol.
