  •  Us girls love to experiment with make up, right? Well, with these tips you CANNOT go wrong! Here are the best shades for your eye color!

    BLUE EYES:

We look best in soft tones, like brown and gray.

APPLICATION TIP: Apply the color on your eye lids, from your lash line to the crease, and in a V shape along the outer corners for added definition.

    GREEN EYES:

You guys look amazing in golden beige, pale purples, smoky plum, and burgundy.

TIP: If you have darker skin and you want a subtle shade, use a shimmery shade to make sure it won't disappear on your skin.

    HAZEL EYES:

You rock shadows like tawny pink, duty violet, gray-blue, and navy.

TIP: When you go for a smoky look, don't use the normal black. Use deep colors like navy and plum. Apply the shadow on your lid from lash line to the crease, then smudge a little along your lower lash line. And if you want a less dramatic effect, only line your upper lashes.

    BROWN EYES:

You look best in bronze shimmey deep brown colors.

TIP: Just apply from the lid to the crease.

     OVERALL APPLICATION TIP:

    * I personally like to start by using a skin tone color with shimmer across my entire eye. Then, I apply a lighter color beneath my eybrows to give a highlighting look. Then, on the corners of my eyes, I put a semi-dark brown color. To finish the look, I blend it in with a thicker brush.

Good luck finding your perfect eye shadows!

  •  I found these tips in one of my favorite magazines. They have not failed me yet!

    1) Don Battle Gear.

"Wear a wrap dress over leggings and a tank with slip-on shoes. You'll be able to get undressed without runining your hair or futzing with shoelaces. And if there's no fitting room, you can literally strip down in the middle of an isle."

    2) Do Research.

"Look at magazines. Sometimes there's a reason things are on sale. You don't want to wind up with things that are totally out. You want to buy items that will carry you into the next season."

    3) Have a Plan and Stay Focused.

"Make a Checklist. Check things off one item at a time. Stick to colors and shapes you know complement your body and skin tone. Don't get all adventurous because something is $40."

    4) Buy a Size Up, Not Down.

"Stop kidding yourselves, ladies! If you're between sizes, don't squeeze into the smaller one hoping you'll lose weight. Buy the next size up and have it tailored to fit you perfectly."

    5) Don't Dismiss Items With Small Flaws.

"Missing buttons or a broken zipper are easy fixes. But do ask for a discount. You might get $10 to $20 off."

*** This happened to me last week. I found this totally adorable vest, and one of the buttons was missing.Unfortunately, it was the only one left in my size. So, instead of forgetting about that beautiful vest, I asked for a discount and got 10% off, plus a button to replace the old one. Can you say score?!

Next time you're out shopping, REMEMBER THESE TIPS!!!!!

    Peace out, life-lovers!
