Cameron Diaz teaches Abigail Breslin how to curse!

So I got invited to attend the screening of "My Sisters Keeper"  and basically I have two things to say. Great Movie. Bring your tissues. Seriously!

The film stars Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin, and is based on the hugely successful book of the same name.  The film follows the family of Diaz who is going through a tough time to say the least. The plot of the film is pretty intense and goes something like this. Breslin plays Anna Fitzgerald who looks to earn medical emancipation from her parents who until now have relied on her to help their other daughter who is suffering from Leukemia to stay alive.

I know I know...nothing like a light hearted film to be assigned to. So I rolled up to the theater got my free pop corn and soda, talked to some colleagues and as the lights dimmed I thought ok "Here we go" ...But honestly before you know it,  the film is more inspiring than it seems heavy. It was one of those films that when the movie is over the audience does not move, and you just hear faint sobs from random corners of the theater.

So the next day I got in the car and headed for the beach to interview the films stars. I got to take part in a press conference of sorts where Cameron, and Abigale answered the press's questions. We learned some top secret inside stuff. Such as: Cameron taught Abigail how to curse. Of course she did. Ha ha! Cameron also talked about how it was for her to deal with the loss of her father while making the film, which was an interesting fact about the movie. And Cameron also let us in on the fact that she cried at the trailer to the movie, not to mention the actual film.

So the press conference ended and I left the hotel, got in my car, and headed back home to my life that seemed easy in comparison to what the characters in this movie deal with. With the beach in my rear view mirror I headed back to Hollywood, a town which no doubt has another compelling story to tell one film at a time.
