Rain!

So I'm in TN right now, and we had theee most amazing thunder storm today. I went outside on my roof and just sat in the rain. It was so relaxing. I sorta went back inside when the lightning went crazy. ha. It was really pretty. I could see the entire streak of lightning, from the cloud to the ground. I always wonder what that streak of lightning is hitting when I see that. A tree? Just the ground? An animal?...a person? Hopefully not. I've always been really curious about people getting dstruck by ligthtning. It's not that complicated of a concept I suppose, but I've heard several stories of certain people that have been struck numerous times in their lives. That's so interesting to me. I really do wonder what causes that to happen...What do you guys think?

Happy light stuff on fire day!...I mean 4th of July!

Ok, don't really go around and light stuff on fire on the 4th of July ok?! Only light fireworks that you're allowed to have and make sure you have an adult present!

Hey everyone! It's so interesting to me to watch "cliques." If you observe them for just a few moments, you notice who the leader is, who their right-hand man is...or so called "sidekick," and then you begin to see those who are following in the back. They follow along, sometimes with their heads down, and other times trying to do anything they possibly can to make themselves feel as though they fit in their group. But if you can lock eyes with them for just a second, you can see it in their eyes. They know that they're pretending...they're wearing a mask to simply fit in. It really breaks my heart to see this. We don't have to feel like we have to be someone else for people to accept us. I know that sometimes we feel alone and like no one gets us, but there's always others who feel the same as you. We all need to stand up for who we are as individuals. No one is exactly the same in any way at all, so instead of trying to be clones of others, lets celebrate our differences and be ourselves.

It's about time right?! Yeah, I know. As I said before, internet is scarce in my house in TN; therefore, can't be on as much as I'd like. But I've returned from the middle of no where and am back in business! ;p

I hope everyone has been enjoying this Cali rain as much as I have. Yesss it does get annoying, but it's so good for everything! Think about it. It cleans up the air and dirty streets, helps vegetation grow, it even helps people pay attention more when they drive. ;p

I truly hope that all of you are doing well. Anyone have any questions?? You know where to find me!

Hey ya'll! So yeah, it's a little late...but up here in the mountains it's sorta hard to get internet. ;p haha

I hope that all of you had a fantabulous Christmas. Mine was awesome. I'm just enjoying my time home with all my family and friends. Cherish every moment you have with them.

Hi everyone! I hope you guys are all doing well out there. I'm just keepin busy with school and work mostly. I've had some-what of a break from craziness(which is nice) so I've been able to go riding a good bit. Yes, I ride horses. haha I know...it's definitely different but I love it! My horses name is Bear and he is sooo sweet. The only thing that sorta sucks is how early it gets dark, so I don't have as much time during the day to go out and ride. Even though it's extremely fun to ride by moonlight. =) I hope that you guys are having a great week! Ttys. <3

This weather is amazing!

Ok, I don't know about any of you guys, but I was so excited when it rained this weekend! It hasn't rained in how long?! It doesn't matter...its been TOO long! The roads are clean, the air is clear, and the sky is so blue. It feels so good! The only bad thing about it is that I think I may be getting a bit of a cold. =( My throat hurts and my nose is a bit stuffy. I've also been getting lots of headaches. So there's been good and bad to the rain I guess. If any of you guys are feeling the same way, there's a few things you can do to help fight this bug off before it effects you too much.

1. Make sure you get plenty of rest. The more tired you are, the weaker your body is. It can't fight off sickness and infection if it's not strong enough to.

2. Make sure your Vitamin C intake is plentyful. Eat lots of citrus fruits and drink at least one glass of orange juice a day. Now, if you're like me, you take lots of vitamins. If that's the case, take extra Vitamin C and lots of Echinacea.

3. Eat right. Make sure you give your body as many power foods as you can. Give your body what it needs to help you fight.

4. Dress warmly. I know as a girl we like to wear our new cute outfit that we just bought at the mall this weekend. Even if it's not really as warm as it should be for the weather outside. Make sure that you wear lots of layers. If your throat hurts, keep a scarf wrapped around your neck to keep it warm. Wearing hats and super warm socks with boots is good too. This is because most of your body heat escapes through your head and toes, so keep those nice and cozy. =) It's even cold enough to need a coat at night, so be sure to have that handy.

This may seem cheesy and I know most of you have been told a million times what to do to fight a cold; but hey, I'm just here to help!
