For those of you who don't know, that line is from CLOVERFIELD!!! When the trailer hit this summer, I was hooked, and it won't be long til 1-18-08 comes around and we are all graced with this film.
The story surrounds a monster attack on NYC, which looks awesome...but at the same time, I'm reminded of the attacks on NYC almost 7 years ago and how deeply all were affected by it. The picture of the Statue of Liberty without her head is cool and well crafted, but I have a feeling that some moviegoers will be slightly disturbed by its very real themes.
All that said, it's just a movie. I AM LEGEND took place in NYC and showed mass destruction, but wasn't the focus of the film.
So go see CLOVERFIELD, and keep enjoying your new year! Hope your resolutions are staying strong!
