Exciting week this week in DVDs...
Spiderpig, spiderpig. Does whatever a spiderpig does...
That's right, THE SIMPSONS MOVIE!!!! Out today, the classic characters we all know and love are up to their crazy antics in this hillarious film. Definitly go get this and watch it till the spiderpigs come home! (okay....I'll admit that was a bit of a lame joke...)
Also out today is UNDERDOG, a new twist on the classic tale of the superhero dog. Basically, avoid this at all costs. The jokes are tired. The animation is fine, but doesn't bring the magic that the classic cartoon had and still has today. But, this is all just my opinion...I'm sure that the younger crowd may enjoy this film.
Another film from the comedy dept. comes BALLS OF FURY, another tired comedy with the same fart jokes and (excuse the potential pun) ball jokes that have plauged comedies for the past decade. This is not to say that I had a few chuckles when watching his film, but I wasn't ROFL. Yeah, I'm L33T savvy...not. If you're into the more recent comedies like Superbad or are looking forward to Walk Hard, then you will probably not laugh as hard with these balls. Of fury.
