Out of Seattle, Washington, comes Minus the Bear! They Got together in 2001 and have released four albums since then. Their latest album: Planet of Ice was released in mid 2007 and happens to be the CD spinning in my car this week

Check out the tracks 'Throwin' Shapes' & 'Knights' from Planet of Ice.

These guys are categorized as "alternative" but i'm not sure of what that even means any more. So If you tend to like indie rock you'll definitely approve of MINUS THE BEAR's hypnotic and melodic creations which, in my opinion, fall into a sub-category of that genre. Scope them out, they are currently touring the U.S., and let me know if you're diggin' their jams.

They record an effective album and they sound SOOO SICK live! For starts check out the track SALUTE YOUR SOLUTION off the Consolers of the Lonely album!

incredible like always. This is the joint of the week without a doubt!

Check it out. I'd be dissapointed if you didn't.
