Posting Rules
TeenFaze.com is your community and we want you to express your thoughts just like you would among your friends. We do however have certain standards because ultimately, we use our best judgement for things posted on TeenFaze.com. We moderate the forums by using automated tools and human observation. If you find a post or posts have been removed, it is most likely because you stepped outside the boundaries of the standards listed below:
1. You must be 13 or older to have a membership, which includes posting on message boards and uploading photos and images.
2. No posting or asking for personal information such as email addresses, AOL or MSN or other IM screennames, phone numbers, your full name, etc..
3. Absolutely no major cursing. You can use words like “frikkin”, “hell”, or “damn” if you need to express your point. If you express yourself in a way that is vulgar, even though no curse words are used or use other symbols or letters that still represent a curse word, then that’s not gonna fly.
4. If you need to post about something relating to a sexual matter, it must be done with dignity. No graphical comments, solicitations, explicit photos or images are allowed. Posting them may result in your account being removed from the system.
5. No posts that refer, encourage, or glorify how to do violent, illegal or harmful activities to themselves and/or others.
6. No posts of hate speech or uploading images containing offensive depictions of people. That includes negative stereotypes, racial epithets (like negative words used to describe a group of people), and bigotry.
7. Do not insult other members. You are free to discuss your opinions and ideas and agree to disagree but no “flame wars”.
8. No ridiculing or trash talking about other members of TeenFaze.com or people you know personally in the terrestrial world. You can give an opinion about a public figure as long as you don’t violate any of the other standards listed here.
9. No ads or links to other competing websites, period.
10. No chain letters, pyramid schemes, or virus warnings on the message boards.(They're not always correct and they clog up the board). Chain letters, by the way, are basically anything that asks you to "post this in 10 threads and you'll get 1000 creds" or something like that. (FYI, we would never REWARD people with creds for clogging up the message boards.)
11. Don't use message boards to take surveys, even if it's for a school project. You can use the poll function to poll people instead, or post a survey on your blog.
12. Any images/videos that exhibit lewd behavior, cyberbullying, alcoholic beverages, or drugs or anything representing those categories, wil be removed immediately.
13. No posting about other products, services, or any other marketing type of information.
14. No backling posts.
Message board hints:
Stay on-topic. There's a place for every subject -- if it doesn't belong somewhere specific, please put it in General Discussion.
Off-topic posts can be reported and will be deleted even if they don't break any other rules, because they drive people CRAZY.
Keep your signature files to 15 lines or less so they don't clog the boards.
Don't post copyrighted material or pretend you created something when someone else actually made it.
